for a week or even a month without you disposing them. Gross isn’t it?
Your whole house smells like garbage and this can affect your actions
and mood. The stink from the inside will eventually spread until it
becomes noticeable from outside the house. Antioxidants are garbage
collectors that take the garbage out of your kitchen leaving your house
(which is your body in reality) clean and smelling good.
Where can I get Antioxidants?
Of course, you always want your body to be safe from Free Radicals
and you might now be asking as to where you can get Antioxidants. There
are several sources of Antioxidants; some of them are listed below.
- Vitamin C (also known as Ascorbic Acid)

Wait a minute, did you mean that my daily supplement in pill or

na itinapon pa ang bangkay nito sa isang liblib na lugar sa United Arab
Emirates.
Sa report na nakarating sa Department of Foreign Affairs, dinakip ng UAE Police ang isang 40-anyos na Pinoy driver na hindi muna pinangalanan matapos ang malalimang imbestigasyon sa pagpatay sa Pinay at sa ilang buwang paghahanap sa suspect.
Sa unang pagsalang ng akusado sa Dubai Court of First Instance, hiniling sa korte ni Chief Prosecutor Youssef Foulaz na mapatawan ng pinakamabigat na parusa ang nasabing driver dahil sa premeditated murder.
Noong Marso 31 ay magkasama umano ang akusado at ang nobyang 40-anyos sa loob ng isang sasakyan at nagkaroon sila ng matinding pag-aaway dahil sa pera.
Sa mainitang pagtatalo ng mag-nobyo, sinabuyan umano ng babae ng buhangin sa mukha ang lalaki sanhi upang magalit ang huli. Dahil dito, mabilis na hinubad ng Pinoy ang sinturon na suot ng nobya at saka sinakal hanggang sa malagutan ng hininga habang nasa backseat ng kotse.
Matapos na mapatay ang Pinay ay dinala ng akusado ang bangkay nito sakay ng kotse patungo sa Al Tawar. Hinubad muna ang mga suot ng babae at tinanggal ang mga gamit nito para hindi makilala bago itinapon ng akusado ang bangkay sa isang ilang na lugar. Matapos ang pagpatay ay nagtago na ang suspect.
Lubha namang nahirapan ang Dubai Police sa pagtukoy kung sino ang may kinalaman sa pagkasawi ng Pinay hanggang sa magsagawa ng crackdown ang pulisya sa mga illegal alien na lumalabag sa ipinatutupad na ‘residency law’ ng UAE. Ang Pinoy at nobya ay pawang overstaying na sa UAE.
Nabatid na 421 katao ang dinakip hanggang sa makakuha ng lead ang UAE police nang isa sa mga naarestong babae ang nakakilala sa biktima mula sa ipinakitang larawan ng pulisya na naging daan upang matukoy ang mga kaibigan nito kabilang ang suspect, ayon naman sa report ng Khaleej Times.

1. Do Not Interfere In
Others' Business Unless Asked.
Most of us create our own
problems by interfering too often in others' affairs. We do so because
somehow we have convinced ourselves that our way is the best way, our
logic is the perfect logic and those who do not conform to our thinking
must be criticized and steered to the right direction, our direction.
This thinking denies the existence of individuality and consequently the
existence of God..
God has created each one of us in a
unique way. No two human beings can think or act in exactly the same
way. All men or women act the way they do because God within them
prompts them that way. Mind your own business and you will keep your
peace.
2. Forgive And Forget:
This is the most powerful aid to peace
of mind. We often develop ill feelings inside our heart for the person
who insults us or harms us. We nurture grievances. This in turn results
in loss of sleep, development of stomach ulcers, and high blood pressure. This
insult or injury was
done once, but nourishing of grievance goes on forever by constantly
remembering it. Get over this bad habit. Life is too short to waste in
such trifles. Forgive,20Forget, and march on. Love flourishes in giving
and forgiving.
3. Do Not Crave For
Recognition:
This world is full of selfish people. They
seldom praise anybody without selfish motives. They may praise you today
because you are in power, but no sooner than you are powerless, they
will forget your achievement and will start finding faults in you. Why
do you wish to kill
yours lf in striving for their recognition? Their
recognition is not worth the aggravation. Do your duties ethically and
sincerely.
4. Do Not Be Jealous:
We all have experienced how jealousy can disturb our peace of mind. You know that you work harder than your colleagues in the office, but sometimes they get promotions; you do not. You started a business several years ago, but you are not as successful as your neighbor whose business is only one year old. There are several examples like these in everyday life. Should you be jealous? No. Remember everybody's life is shaped by his/her destiny, which has now become his/her reality. If you are destined to be rich, nothing in the world can stop you. If you are not so destined, no one can help you either. Nothing will be gained by blaming others for your misfortune. Jealousy will not get you anywhere; it will only take away your peace of mind.
5. Change Yourself According To The Environment:
If you try to change the environment single-handedly, the chances are you will fail. Instead, change yourself to suit your environment. As you do this, even the environment, which has been unfriendly to you, will mysteriously change and seem congenial and harmonious.
6. Endure What Cannot Be Cured:
This is the best way to turn a disadvantage into an advantage. Every day we face numerous inconveniences, ailments, irritations, and accidents that are beyond our control... If we cannot control them or change them, we must learn to put up with these things. We must learn to endure them cheerfully. Believe in yourself and you will gain in terms of patience, inner strength and will power.
7. Do Not Bite Off More Than You Can Chew:
This maxim needs to be remembered constantly. We often tend to take more responsibilities than we are capable of carrying out. This is done to satisfy our ego. Know your limitations. . Why take on additional loads that may create more worries? You cannot gain peace of mind by expanding your external activities. Reduce your material engagements and spend time in prayer, introspection and meditation. This will reduce those thoughts in your mind that make you restless. Uncluttered mind will produce greater peace of mind.
8. Meditate Regularly:
Meditation calms the mind and gets rid of disturbing thoughts. This is the highest state of peace of mind. Try and experience it yourself. If you meditate earnestly for half an hour everyday, your mind will tend to become peaceful during the remaining twenty-three and half-hours. Your mind will not be easily disturbed as it was before. You would benefit by gradually increasing the period of daily meditation. You may think that this will interfere with your daily work. On the contrary, this will increase your efficiency and you will be able to produce better results in less time.
9. Never Leave The Mind Vacant:
An empty mind is the devil's workshop. All evil actions start in the vacant mind. Keep your mind occupied in something positive, something worthwhile . Actively follow a hobby. Do something that holds your interest. You must decide what you value more: money or peace of mind. Your hobby, like social work or religious work, may not always earn you more money, but you will have a sense of fulfillment and achievement. Even when you are resting physically, occupy yourself in healthy reading or mental chanting of God's name.
10. Do Not Procrastinate And Never Regret:
Do not waste time in protracted wondering " Should I or shouldn't I?" Days, weeks, months, and years may be wasted in that futile mental debating. You can never plan enough because you can never anticipate all future happenings. Value your time and do the things that need to be done. It does not matter if you fail the first time. You can learn from your mistakes and succeed the next time. Sitting back and worrying will lead to nothing. Learn from your mistakes, but do not brood over the past. DO NOT REGRET. Whatever happened was destined to happen only that way. Why cry over spilt milk?

Father's Day is a beautiful festival that acknowledges and appreciates the important role played by a father in raising the child and consequently building a stronger society. Though fathers have been revered at all times by civilizations across the globe ironically what was missing until the last century was the official recognition of the significance of fathers in ones life. Father's Day story is the tale of realization of the need for a Father's Day festival primarily by Ms Sonora Louise Smart Dodd of Washington. The story narrates Sonora's unflagging struggle to officially set a day to honor all fathers. Thanks to Sonora, today Fathers Day is celebrated in a large number of countries around the world.
The Beginning of Father's Day Story
Historians have recorded that there was a tradition to celebrate Father's Day even thousands of years ago. Their study say that 4,000 years ago in Babylon a son called Elmesu carved a father's day message on a clay card. In his message Elmesu wished his father a long and healthy life. There is no knowledge as to what happened to this father son duo but it is believed that several countries retained the custom of celebrating Father's Day.
Genesis of Father's Day in Modern Society
The tradition of celebrating Father's Day as seen today originated in the last century. Though there are several people who are credited for furthering the cause of Father's Day, there is far greater acceptance for Ms Sonora Louise Smart Dodd's contribution. A doting daughter from Spokane, Washington, Ms Dodd is recognized as the Founder or Mother of the Father's Day Festival.
Inception of the Father's Day took place in Sonora's mind when she happened to hear a Mother's Day sermon in 1909. Sonora, who was 27 then, had begun to recognize the hardships her father must have gone through while bringing up his six children alone. When Sonora was 16, her mother had died during childbirth. Sonora's father a Civil War veteran by the name of William Jackson Smart raised six children including the newborn on his own. Sonora questioned that if there is a day to recognize mothers then why is not there a day to honor fathers?
Many people laughed and joked at Sonora's idea. But her will did not droop. She began a sincere campaign lobbying for the cause of Father's Day. Her hard work began to show signs of success when Spokane celebrated its first Father's Day on June 19, 1910 with the support of Spokane Ministerial Association and the local Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA). To pay tribute to her affectionate father, Sonora wished that Father's Day be celebrated on her father's birthday on June 5, but it so happened that there was not enough time for preparation and the day came to be celebrated on third Sunday in the month of June.
The noble idea of celebrating Father's Day became quite popular in US so much so that President Woodrow Wilson approved of the festival in 1916. President Calvin Coolidge too supported the idea but it was President Lyndon Johnson who signed a Presidential Proclamation declaring the third Sunday of June as Father's Day in 1966. Then in 1972, President Richard Nixon established a permanent national observance of Father's Day to be held on the third Sunday of June.

Father's Day has become a hugely popular festival. World over people thank their father and pay tribute to them. Most commonly children gift Father's Day cards and flowers to their father. are caused by food — either by eating
too much or too little or at the wrong time.
Fortunately, these can be rectified by watching what you eat. Understanding your body
mechanism and bringing a few changes to your dietary patterns is enough
to help you get back on your feet again after an attack of acidity or
gastritis. Here's how to cure some common problems caused by food… with
food.
ACIDITY
ACIDITY
What: It's that familiar feeling of heartburn, vomiting, coughing, stomach pain and bloating which makes you run for an antacid. Acidity is caused by an imbalance between the acid secreting mechanism of the stomach and the protective mechanisms that ensure their safety. It results when there is excess production of acid which may enter the lower part of the oesophagus (Gastro-Oesophageal Reflux).
Avoid: Tur dal, channa dal, raw vegetables, cabbage, kidney beans
(rajma), white bread, bakery products, refined flour, noodles, poha,
ragi, spinach, peanuts, dry coconut, canned foods and stuff containing
monosodium glutamate, caffeine and alcohol. All these cause acidity or
aggravate it. Don't take too hot or too cold meals.
Combat with: Fresh fruits or vegetables, cumin, ajwain. Have
small and frequent meals. Increase your chewing time so that food
masticates well in the mouth. Drink lots of water (but don't gulp it,
sip it). Have few drops of lemon or jal jeera, they help increase saliva
production.
CONSTIPATION
What: Occurs primarily because bowel movement is restricted because of weak colon muscles. Defecation may be very painful and in severe cases, can lead to symptoms of bowel obstruction. Lack of fluid and fibre, a sedentary lifestyle, stress, side effects of medication, even pregnancy can cause constipation.
Avoid: Alcohol, refined, starchy and sugary foods
Combat with: Plenty of water, at least 1.5 to 2 litres a day. Have food high in fibre and fluid — banana, raw banana, lotus stem, beans, gavar), and seasonal fruits, especially skinny ones like guava, pear, plum and apple.
INDIGESTION/ HEARTBURN
What: Most common digestive disorder caused by reflux — the sphincter muscles connecting the oesophagus to the stomach fails to close. So the acid in the stomach regurgitates. You might feel angina pain or even bloating often leading people to mistake it as symptoms leading to heart attack. Avoid: Large, late meals, fatty food, tobacco, caffeine in all forms, tomato based goodies — chips, sauces and dips. Try not eating two hours before bedtime. Also don't bend or lie down immediately after a meal. Alcohol too should be avoided, but a glass of wine is ok.
Combat with: Small and frequent meals, half a cup of cold milk before bedtime, drinks of tarragon, dill, mint, fennel and cumin.

What: Inflammation of the stomach lining, signalling indigestion. Gastritis could be acute (sudden), a result of faulty lifestyle or stress. Or it could be chronic (longterm), aggravated by medicines or age. The symptoms are similar to that of acidity.
Avoid: Spicy food, chocolates, aerated beverages, fatty foods, tomato-based products and alcohol
Combat with: Bland food, vegetables that have high water content such as bottle gourd (dudhi), long parwal, tinda, pumpkin, water melon and papaya. Just sauté them or cook in pressure cooker without too much oil or spices.

What: If breaking wind at inopportune moments, bloating and burping is a constant embarrassment for you, blame it on acidity, indigestion and even irritable bowel syndrome. Sometimes intolerance of milk can also lead to flatulence.
Avoid: Lentils and legumes, especially if they are not soaked for eight hours or more. Juicy vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, sprouts. Also stop taking carbonated drinks, chewing gum, bran and mava sweets.
Combat with: High fibre foods that work as laxative — skinny fruits, lotus stem, raw banana and herbs such as rosemary, fennel, tarragon, thyme tea and ginger.

This stunning crop art has
sprung up across rice fields in Japan . But this is no alien creation -
the designs have been cleverly planted.
Farmers creating the huge displays use no ink or dye. Instead, different colours of rice plants have been precisely and strategically arranged and grown in the paddy fields.
As summer progresses and the plants shoot up, the detailed artwork begins to emerge.
A Sengoku warrior on horseback has
been created from hundreds of thousands
of rice plants, the colours created by using different varieties, in the
village of Inakadate in Japan .
The largest and finest work is grown in the Aomori village of Inakadate , 600 miles north of Toyko, where the tradition began in 1993.
The village has now earned a reputation for its agricultural artistry and this year
the enormous pictures of Napoleon and a Sengoku-period warrior, both on horseback, are visible in a pair of fields adjacent to the town hall.
More than 150,000 vistors come to Inakadate, where just 8,700 people live, every summer to see the extraordinary murals.
Each year hundreds of volunteers and villagers plant four different varieties of rice in late May across huge swathes of paddy fields.
